You're good at your job. That's not what's wrong.
It’s more that you’ve been at it for a long time and done the right thing – figured out what was expected, delivered it, carried on working. And somewhere along the way, the question of what you actually want has ceased to be clear. It just doesn’t matter as much anymore.
Perhaps you’re tired. Perhaps you’re angry with yourself because you can’t just be satisfied with something that looks fine from the outside. Or perhaps you know full well that something needs to change – you just don’t know what it is, or what you should do.
That’s typically where we start.
The Cornerstone – an in-depth five-step career programme – consists of six structured sessions, held at intervals of one to two weeks. It is not therapy, nor is it a course. It's a workspace where we systematically explore what you actually know about yourself – and what you didn't realise you knew.
We'll look at:
You and your personality type – what defines it, and what does that mean for how you work best
Your values – what really matters to you at the end of the day
Your purpose – what does your working life need to offer to feel meaningful
Your motivation – when do you perform well, and when do you feel drained
A concrete action plan – not a wish list, but a next step – or several – that you can actually take

Between our sessions, there is homework – specific experiences and reflections that we use as material. It isn’t therapy homework. It is what enables us to go deeper than the surface.

I’ve been in a situation where the job took more from me than it gave. Not because it was a bad job. It wasn’t. It was very exciting and interesting.
It just wasn’t really the right fit for me. But I thought it was.
I was actually good at it. But it wore me down, because there were just a number of things I couldn’t operate well under. Had I known back then what I know today, I might well have avoided a couple of periods of sick leave due to stress.
I’d like to help others avoid that.
I’m a qualified coach in several methods, and I’m also trained as a grief counsellor. I work in an evidence-based way, and I trust in structure. Not because I’m rigid – but because structure is what actually enables us to move from good intentions to something actually HAPPENING.
I’ve been down that road myself – with plenty of unnecessary and unpleasant detours – so you don’t have to.
